Checkers announcement could change local hockey

The Charlotte Checkers will reason a headlines discussion currently to make known a poignant growth about a “future of hockey” in Charlotte, pronounced a team.

Although a Checkers would not criticism privately upon what a headlines discussion would be about, there has been conjecture which a American Hockey League’s Albany (N.Y.) River Rats – a tip teenager joining associate of a Carolina Hurricanes – will immigrate to Charlotte.

That leaves a standing of a ECHL’s Checkers, who have played in Charlotte given 1956, in doubt.
